Itinerary
Day 1
Delhi - Agra
Embark on your journey with an early start from Delhi at 6:00 AM, allowing you to beat the traffic and have a smooth drive to Agra. Arrive at Agra by 10:00 AM, check into your hotel, and freshen up before embarking on a sightseeing tour. At 11:00 AM, visit the famous Taj Mahal, which is open from sunrise to sunset (closed on Fridays). Spend 1.5 to 2 hours exploring this famous monument, taking pictures, and learning about its rich history from a guide. Have a delicious Mughlai lunch at 1:30 PM at famous eateries like Peshawri, Dasaprakash, or Pinch of Spice. Later, at 3:00 PM, visit the magnificent Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that boasts incredible Mughal architecture. By 5:00 PM, visit Mehtab Bagh for a serene view of the Taj Mahal from the other side of the Yamuna River. In the evening, indulge in optional shopping at local markets before dinner and an overnight stay in Agra.
Day 2
Agra to Mathura to Vrindavan to Delhi
After breakfast, begin your spiritual journey at 7:00 AM, departing from Agra to Mathura, located about 60 km away with a travel time of approximately 1.5 hours. Arrive in Mathura by 8:30 AM and visit the sacred Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, where you can spend 1–1.5 hours in prayer and exploration. At 10:00 AM, proceed to the Dwarkadhish Temple, a beautiful and important shrine dedicated to Lord Krishna. By 11:00 AM, depart for Vrindavan, just 15 km away, reaching around 11:30 AM. Visit the famous Banke Bihari Temple, followed by the magnificent Prem Mandir, known for its stunning marble work. Enjoy a pure vegetarian lunch in Vrindavan before visiting the serene ISKCON Temple. In the afternoon, begin your return journey to Delhi, arriving by 7:00 PM, marking the end of a peaceful and enriching pilgrimage.
