Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Khajuraho
On arrival at Khajuraho, transfer to hotel and after freshening up, visit the magnificent Western and Eastern Group of Temples, which are famous for their intricate carvings and are UNESCO World Heritage sites. Enjoy the Light & Sound Show in the evening that narrates the history of the Chandela dynasty. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
Day 2
Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh
After having your breakfast, you will proceed towards Bandhavgarh National Park, which is one of the most popular national parks for tiger sighting in India. On your arrival, you will check into your resort for a wildlife experience. The rest of the day is at your leisure, either by taking a walk in the natural surroundings or a wildlife documentary session (optional). Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 3
Bandhavgarh Jungle Safari
Early morning jeep safari into Bandhavgarh National Park with a guide. See the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger, deer, leopards, and various species of birds. Return to the resort for breakfast. Free afternoon for rest and relaxation or go for a further safari (at an additional cost). Overnight stay.
Day 4
Bandhavgarh – Jabalpur
After breakfast, head to Jabalpur. Visit the marvelous Marble Rocks at Bhedaghat and enjoy a boat ride on the Narmada River, depending on the water level. Next, visit the spectacular Dhuandhar Falls. Overnight stay in Jabalpur.
Day 5
Jabalpur – Ujjain
After having breakfast, proceed to Ujjain, one of the sacred cities in India. Visit the famous Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple and attend the divine evening ceremony of Aarti with the divine presence of Lord Shiva. Overnight stay in Ujjain.
Day 6
Ujjain – Bhopal
After breakfast, proceed to Bhopal. On the way, visit the ancient Sanchi Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After that, visit the famous Upper Lake.
Day 7
Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey, taking back wonderful memories of Madhya Pradesh’s culture, wildlife, and spirituality.
