Itinerary
Day 1
Coimabatore to Ooty
On the first day, you have to start from Coimbatore to Ooty, which takes around 3-4 hours. Once you have checked in, you can start by exploring Ooty Lake, where you can enjoy a boating experience. Later in the evening, you can visit Government Botanical Gardens, which is quite pleasant and beautiful, giving you an experience of nature with all its beauty.
Day 2
Ooty Sightseeing
Start your day with a trip to Doddabetta Peak, the highest peak in Ooty. This offers you stunning views of the Nilgiri Hills. After this, you can take a trip to the Rose Garden, which is famous for the Poo音楽 Valley View from this site. In the evening, you could either head to Ooty Boat House or indulge in shopping. This is followed by an overnight stay in Ooty.
Day 3
Ooty to Madurai
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Madurai, which will take about 6 to 7 hours by road. Moreover, on reaching the destination, check into the hotel and relax for some time. In the evening, you could visit the famous temple known as the Meenakshi Amman Temple, which is quite famous for its architecture. In the evening, you could also witness the Aarti, which makes the temple look even more beautiful with the music.
Day 4
Madurai Sightseeing
On the fourth day, you should visit the Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal, a 17th-century palace built in Indo-Saracenic style. Next, you should move on and reach the Gandhi Memorial Museum to see exhibits and information related to Mahatma Gandhi and India’s freedom struggle. You should spend the evening revisiting Meenakshi Temple or moving on to see the Alagar Kovil Temple, situated at the foot of the Western Ghats.
Day 5
Madurai to Coimbatore
On the last day, after breakfast, you have an option to see more places in Madurai or buy souvenirs in the local markets. Then, in the afternoon, return to Coimbatore, which takes 4-5 hours. You will reach Coimbatore by evening, marking the end of the 4N/5D tour.
