Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Coimbatore
You will arrive at Coimbatore International Airport and then move to your hotel for check-in. After that, you will move for local sightseeing, which includes visiting Perur Pateeswarar Temple, Marudhamalai Temple, and G.D. Naidu Industrial Exhibition. After spending a wonderful day, you will move to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2
Coimbatore to Ooty
After breakfast, we depart for Ooty, a beautiful hill station located in the Nilgiri Hills. On our arrival, we enjoy a sightseeing trip to Ooty Lake, Government Botanical Garden, Doddabetta Peak, and Government Rose Garden. One may also enjoy the Nilgiri Mountain Railway ride to enjoy the beauty of the lush green surroundings. Overnight stay in Ooty.
Day 3
Ooty to Kodaikanal
After having breakfast, proceed to Kodaikanal, a beautiful hill station known for its peaceful lakes and beautiful vistas. Once you arrive, enjoy sightseeing at Kodaikanal Lake, Coaker's Walk, Pillar Rocks, and Bryant Park. After having a peaceful day, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Kodaikanal.
Day 4
Kodaikanal to Madurai
After having breakfast, depart for Madurai, which is known as the cultural hub of Tamil Nadu. On reaching Madurai, go for sightseeing and visit famous landmarks such as Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Nayak Palace, and Gandhi Memorial Museum. In the evening, attend the divine Aarti ceremony at Meenakshi Temple.
Day 5
Madurai to Thekkady
After breakfast, you can proceed to Thekkady, the home of the famous wildlife sanctuary in Kerala. You can visit the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and enjoy a cruise in Periyar Lake, where you can even catch glimpses of elephants, deer, etc. You can also go for a spice plant tour in the region. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Day 6
Thekkady to Munnar
After breakfast, drive to Munnar, renowned for its sprawling tea plantations and cool climate. Upon arrival, visit the Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Attukal Waterfalls. Enjoy the refreshing atmosphere and breathtaking landscapes before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 7
Munnar to Alleppey
After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey, called the ‘Land of the Enchanting Backwaters of Kerala.’ Upon arrival, you will board a traditional houseboat and cruise through the backwaters, enjoying the scenic beauty of the surrounding villages. Enjoy traditional Kerala delicacies served on board while cruising through the calm waters. Enjoy an overnight stay on the houseboat.
Day 8
Alleppey to Kochi
After having your breakfast, check out of the houseboat and proceed to Kochi by road. Visit some of the major tourist spots like Fort Kochi, Chinese Fishing Nets, Mattancherry Palace, Paradesi Synagogue, and St. Francis Church, Kochi. Take a leisurely walk along Marine Drive, Kochi, and enjoy a beautiful sunset. In the evening, you may attend a Kathakali performance or a Kalaripayattu show. Overnight stay is at Kochi.
Day 9
Kochi to Kanyakumari
After having breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari, which is the southernmost point of our land. On arrival, visit the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Kanyakumari Temple, and Sunset Point Kanyakumari. Watch the spectacular view of the Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea, and Indian Ocean merging into one sea. Overnight stay is at Kanyakumari.
Day 10
Departure from Kanyakumari to Coimbatore
After breakfast, you may head back to Coimbatore. Depending on your flight timings, you may visit Bhoramadevi Temple or simply relax at Vellalore Lake. After that, you may head to Coimbatore International Airport for your onward journey with lots of memories of your Tamil Nadu & Kerala tour.
